In 1953 Mr. Raymond Brown then aged 24 purchased a chainsaw at an auction in Salisbury with £30 that he had borrowed from his mother. A man of honesty and integrity with a determination to provide for his family, he and his wife set about chopping wood in The New Forest to provide fuel for the local community.
From those small beginnings the Raymond Brown Group was born…
