Landfill & Restoration
The strategic positioning of our sites and our ability to trade airspace with other operators enables us to extend our coverage into Dorset, Oxford and beyond.
We pride ourselves in the care and attention we give our inert disposal facilities and they are all sympathetically restored to the highest standard.
The restoration schemes vary, depending on the location and lifespan of the site as well as the requirements of the local community. Sites are generally restored in keeping with the surrounding landscapes and ecology. This can range from agricultural land, heathland, wetland habitats to fishing lakes or nature reserves. The restoration schemes are designed in consultation with the local community and local authorities.
Both progressive restoration and final restoration form important elements of responsible site stewardship. Comprehensive restoration schemes are at the heart of each planning application and we strongly believe that our professionalism and our conduct before, during and after each restored project gives us greater opportunity when securing new planning permissions for new facilities and as a direct result we have a significant land bank available to us for many years to come.
